Adelitas Way have released the behind-the-scenes footage for the “Sick” music video. The tune is off of their sophomore album, “Home School Valedictorian”, which dropped on June 7th. The band shot the video in a tunnel in Los Angeles and had a limited number of hours in the middle of the night to complete the video, before authorities were going to shut them down. We are sure the flaming balls of fire were a pretty hefty safety concern.
Yes, we enjoyed hearing just how this video was made, but what pleased us even more was seeing how down-to-earth the members of Adelitas Way are. When we interviewed vocalist, Rick DeJesus, we got the same vibe. It didn’t feel as if we were talking to an up and coming rock superstar, but rather a companion, who was determined to make music his life. The clip lets you see the passionate side of Adelitas Way, the humorous side and the focused side. Check out the video and soak in the humbleness the group exudes.
Fans can also join the Las Vegas band on the Carnival of Madness tour, which kicks off August 13th in Twin Lakes, IL. Stay tuned to the band’s official website for tour information!
