Christopher Nolan has set up a horror movie through his production company Syncopy, but will only serve as an executive producer on the film, ComingSoon is reporting. The ‘Inception’ director has hired Keith Gordon to write and helm the untitled supernatural thriller.

Gordon has worked with Nolan before, serving as his assistant on several films, including ‘Batman Begins.’ Gordon is also serving as a co-producer on the upcoming ‘Dark Knight Rises.’ As an actor, he’s most remembered for playing Arnie Cuningham in the 1983 horror film ‘Christine.’ He has also directed such movies as ‘Waking the Dead’ and ‘The Singing Detective.’

Nolan will co-produce the thriller with his partner Emma Thomas. The director is also currently producing Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot ‘Man of Steel.’
