We need to start thanking the television networks, Nickelodeon and Disney, a bit more often for discovering artists who can both act and sing. The double or triple or even quadruple talents do not just have one forte within the bunch. Their strengths spread throughout their skills quite evenly as seen with international music, television and film star, Drake Bell.
Drake learned to play guitar in 1998 from The Who’s legendary guitarist, Roger Daltrey, with whom he worked on the movie “Changing Destiny.” Since then Drake released two albums and performed on sold out tours, as well as acting on Nikelodeon’s hit show, “Drake &; Josh.” He is now gearing up for his first music release in five years with the EP, Reminder, which will drop on June 28th. The full tracklisting for the four track EP includes the songs, “Terrific,” “You’re Not Thinking,” “Big Shot” and “Speak My Mind.” You can check out a video portrait teaser for “Terrific” on Bell’s official website. From what we can hear on this brief clip, the track has a hauntingly mysterious sound that is infused with contemporary beats. The 50 second video left us craving to hear more from the artist’s EP, Reminder.
Stayed tune to his official website for the upcoming “Terrific” music video premiere and find him on Facebook and Twitter for the latest updates on Reminder and summer tour announcements.
