This latest news from Variety makes the movie geek in me giddy like Christmas morning! Warner Brothers has acquired ‘Supernatural’ creator Eric Kripke’s spec script for a movie by the name of ‘Haunted’. And that’s not all. Green Lantern writer, Greg Berlanti, and Kevin McCormack of Arthur, is also on board to produce together, through their banners, Berlanti Prods. and Langley Park.
The potential of this trio working on the same project is the perfect mix of talents. Add in a haunted storyline told through the eyes of a ghost living his days out in a spooky house (no doubt), Kripke directing, and an awesome cast, and they should easily be able to create one hell of a blockbuster flick. A release date has yet to be announced, but stay tuned, we’ll keep you up to speed with additional production news and casting, that is sure to be on the way.
Kripke’s other stints as a a director include The Boogeyman and Life A We Know It, while Berlanti is best known for his creation of the former CW series Everwood. And when it comes to Kevin McCormick, the seasoned producer’s work dates back to Saturday Night Fever, Dying Young and more.
