I’ll start this off by saying that I have an unpopular opinion about “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2” as you probably heard on the “ShockYa presents Movie Night” podcast. You can listen to what I said in the podcast, but I know that I am probably now even more of an outcast in “Harry Potter” fandom circles.

However, “Deathly Hallows” has made a lot of people happy, fans and critics alike, especially considering how lucrative the entire movie series has been. It’s also commendable that Warner Brothers crated eight successful films with only one casting change–Michael Gambon being brought on as Dumbledore after the death of Richard Harris after the second film–and, for the most part, no really big issues.

The film has 97% on Rotten Tomatoes with the audience giving the movie a score of 93%. The critical consensus is that the film is, according to Rotten Tomatoes, “[t]hrilling, powerfully acted, and visually dazzling [.] Deathly Hallows Part II brings the Harry Potter franchise to a satisfying — and suitably magical — conclusion.”

So what did you think of the film? Do you have an unpopular opinion as well, or are you of the mindset that this is the best way to end the “Harry Potter” film series? Sound off below.
