Kenan Thompson, current cast member on “Saturday Night Live,” owes his career to his start on Nickelodeon. The former member of “All That” and “Kenan and Kel” talked to MTV News about TeenNick’s new block of retro television, “The ’90s Are All That.”
Thompson said that the response to the fan-requested block of television is “very exciting.” “I thought it was very crazy. It was very complimentary and felt really nice of [TeenNick to bring back the programs], and it’s all fan requested and then that made it even better.”
He said the late-night airing of the shows fits in well with the demographic it’s marketed towards. “We’re all at that age now where we’re night-owls; everybody’s up anyway. It’s a good idea for a spot.”
