There’s a reason filmmakers are churning out found footage films; they’ve got an inherent draw. Writer-producer Ryan McCoy is the latest to jump on the bandwagon with his film Evidence, a piece that follows four people into the canyons near LA. There’s no witch, rabid virus or ghosts here, rather a mysterious creature wreaking havoc on their home movie.

The film’s trailer is up and running and not only proves the sub-genre’s got some juice left in it, but that McCoy knows how to work with the format and director Howie Askins has got the eye to bring McCoy’s script to life. On top of that, the guys must have a top-notch editor on their crew, as this cut is quite effective. Check it out for yourself below.
