A new movie trailer for Brad Pitt’s next vehicle ‘Moneyball’ has been revealed. The baseball movie, directed by Bennet Miller, follows Billy Beane, the general manager of the A’s and his out of the box strategies at forming the best team of talent on a low budget. Also appearing in the film alongside Pitt is Jonah Hill who playa a socially inept, but brainy Ivy Leaguer who may has what it takes to help Pitt save the team. Philip Seymour Hoffman is also on board as manager Art Howe in the adaption that was penned by Aaron Sorkin and Steve Zaillians.
This latest trailer shows familiar clips from the first sneak peak, with the exception of Hoffman making an appearance. Also seen is an angry but determined Brad Pitt talking about the team’s sad status and what Boston fans may also recognize as a few quick glimpses of scenes shot at Fenway Park. The movie is based on a true story and comes from the novel ‘Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game’, written by Michael L. Lewis. Look for it in theaters on September 23rd.
