CNN anchor Anderson Cooper has shared a few choice words about rapper Chris Brown’s casting in an upcoming movie. The opinionated news personality bashed the singer, responsible for physically assaulting Rihanna back in 2009, stating that he “oozes romance,” after finding out Brown was added to the film adaptation of Steve Harvey’s book “Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man.” Enraged, Cooper talked about the situation on his series ‘AC 360’, making the announcement:
“Ladies and gentlemen, particularly ladies, Chris Brown has been cast in a movie,” Anderson said. “And not just any movie, it’s a romantic comedy based on a self-help book about relationships. And I, for one, can not imagine why this did not happen sooner because if there’s one thing you can say about Chris Brown, who’s currently on probation for viciously assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna, he just oozes romance.”
Right on Cooper! Backing up his claims, Anderson then went on to recount all of the minor and major incidents that have landed Chris Brown back in the headlines after the beating incident spotlight, before discussing the twenty-two year old entertainer’s latest temper tantrum on the set of ‘Good Morning America’.
“This movie is a romantic comedy, which is perfect since the one thing Chris Brown does better than romance is comedy. Just ask the folks at ‘Good Morning America.’ Remember a few months ago when Chris Brown trashed the place, broke a window and scared all the hair and makeup people? That was hilarious.”
By the segments end, Cooper referred to Brown’s movie as an “unforgettable hit.”
