We can never get enough of the tunes of AWOLNATION. Playing any track off of their debut album, ‘Megalithic Symphony’, immediately demands another replay. We credit this repetitiveness to the complex melodic arrangements of each track. Each listen unravels an entirely different rhythm, whether it’s due to the vocals or the instruments. Our ears crave to decipher every musical element of AWOLNATION.
Still can’t imagine music to be this powerfully addictive? Well, hear it for yourselves and check out AWOLNATION’s performance of the song “Kill Your Heroes”, which is a track off of Megalithic Symphony, at La Zona Rosa in Austin, Texas. Aaron Bruno of AWOLNATION knows how to command an audience and the dramatic lighting of the stage only fuels his authority.
We are not surprised that AWOLNATION is playing packed shows like the concert in Texas, seeing as Megalithic Symphony has been climbing the charts since its release in March. The album broke into the top 10 U.S. Modern Rock chart and was also named one of iTunes Top 20 albums of 2011. Not bad Mr. Bruno. These achievements are well deserved.
