Actor Brad Pitt is currently said to be in talks to star in director James Gray’s upcoming adaption of ‘The Gray Man’. Mirrored from the workings of novelist Mark Greaney, the story would follow Pitt in the the role of a CIA agent who turns into an assassin. The Gray Man’s script was written by Adam Cozad (Untitled Jack Ryan Project), and will be produced by Plan B and Dede Gardner, with Stephen Garrett. If Pitt does sign for the role, the ‘Tree of Life’ star will be adding the action drama to his full plate of flicks such as ‘World War Z’, which he is currently filming, the 2012 release Cogan’s Trade, and Happy Feet 2 in 3D in the role of Krill. Here’s the official plot behind the flick per Amazon:
“Court Gentry is known as The Gray Man-a legend in the covert realm, moving silently from job to job, accomplishing the impossible, and then fading away. And he always hits his target. But there are forces more lethal than Gentry in the world. And in their eyes, Gentry has just outlived his usefulness. Now, he is going to prove that for him, there’s no gray area between killing for a living-and killing to stay alive.”
