Who would have ever thought metal music and baseball would have something in common? Well, you can thank Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine for bringing these two together. The lead vocalist and guitarist of Megadeth recently took part in MLB.com’s season long MLB Fan Cave series, by being one of the many attractions of the Cave. Check out the clip, where Mike O’hara is giving visitors a tour of the Cave and takes them to a booth where Mustaine plays a not surprisingly badass rift.
You can hear Mustaine shred some more with Megadeth’s latest release, “Peace Sells…But Who’s Buying?” The album has been digitally re-mastered for the first time and expanded for a commemorative release in multiple configurations. All of the versions, including a 2CD lift-top box, digital album, and a deluxe 5 Disc+3LP box set, include a previously unreleased 1987 concert from the band’s first world tour and new liner notes written by Dave Mustaine and Metallica’s Lars Ulrich.
In case you Shockya readerS forgot, we were giving away the 25th anniversary box set in July. We have decided to extend that Megdeth giveaway till the end of August. So, check out that post and give us your best response.
