The end of summer is usually a depressing time, but our fall fear won’t be so bad this year, since the tunes of Jane’s Addiction will be around to ease the pain. The founding fathers of alternative rock, vocalist, Perry Farrell, guitarist Dave Navarro and drummer, Stephen Perkins, will release their upcoming studio album, “The Great Escape Artist”, on September 27th via Capitol Records. Entering yet another decade, Jane’s Addiction will be able to impact a new generation of “untarnished” ears with their forthcoming album.
The alternative rockers would not be the immensely influential band they are today, if it wasn’t for their past albums, which include, “Nothing’s Shocking”, “Ritual de lo Habitual” and “Strays”. Jane’s Addiction have made it a bit easier for you to catch up on their remarkable musical career with their latest video release. The two minute clip takes fans back in time by giving them a solid sum-up of the band’s journey. The band highlights some of their most popular songs like, “Jane Says”, “Stop”, and “Strays” with footage of live performances, music videos and more.
The last two tracks in the video recap are Jane’s Addiction’s most recent releases, “End To The Lies” and “Irresistible Force”, which are singles off of “The Great Escape Artist”. Both songs are available for fans on iTunes now. Fans can also check out the music video for the song, “End To The Lies”.
