Gwyneth Paltrow just snagged an Emmy at the The Creative Arts Emmy Awards held last night in in Los Angeles for her guest role as Holly Holliday in Fox’s Glee. Fans will remember that the actress and singer appeared in season 2, in a three episode arc of the Ryan Murphy creation, scoring Will Schuester’s attention and the show with her performance as the out of the box Turning Tables teacher. Now it seems Paltrow isn’t ruling out a return to the series that is about to kick off their third season.
Paltrow stated that she “[loves] doing that show”, in what is “probably the most fun character I’ve ever gotten to play,” reported Bang Showbiz
As pointed out by Digital Spy, “Paltrow said earlier this year that she was unsure whether to reprise the role.” Fans will have to wait and see how things pan out. After all. Paltrow is already attached to other projects. The Country Strong star just showed up this past weekend at the box office with her role in Contagion alongside Matt Damon, and she’s also busy with her commitment to The Avengers as Pepper Potts.
What do you say Glee fans – would you like to see Holly Holiday make a return to the show in its new year?
