For us, pumpkins, witches and ghosts have typically dominated the month of October. Since we are big fans of Halloween, nothing has been able to compete with all the orange and black of those fall days. This year, we think the holiday will finally have some competition. Instead of covering our walls with Halloween decorations, we plan on dressing our room up with Jane’s Addiction images.
Frontman, Perry Farrell, guitarist, Dave Navarro and drummer, Stephen Perkins, will be releasing their newest album, “The Great Escape Artist” on October 18th. To bring even more excitement to the album, Jane’s Addiction will be performing some of their early classic shows in legendary venues. Partnering with Citi, the alternative rock pioneers will play at Hollywood’s historic, John Anson For Theatre, where in April of 1989 they completed a series of sold out shows for their groundbreaking debut, “Nothing’s Shocking”. The Los Angeles show will take place on Monday, October 3rd and Tuesday, October 4th.
So, if you can’t catch Jane’s Addiction in Chicago, Los Angeles will be your next best bet. Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets for the Los Angeles shows beginning Tuesday, September 20th at 10:00 am pacific time through Citi’s Private Pass Program. For complete presale details, click here. Tickets go on sale for the two shows on Saturday, September 24th. Citi card members will also have the chance to get exclusive VIP packages, custom launch show merchandises and unique opportunities to interact with the band. More information on these experience can be found here.
As New Yorkers, seeing Jane’s Addiction in Los Angeles will just not be possible. Lucky for us and the rest of you east coasters, the iconic band will also be performing in New York. So, stay tuned for ticket information!
