In celebration of the Friday nationwide theatrical release of “50/50”, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen, two videos of cast roundtable interviews have been released. The roundtables include Rogen and Gordon-Levitt, as well as fellow cast members Bryce Dallas Howard, Anna Kendrick and writer Will Reiser. The two-part interviews include conversations about the making of the film, which was based on the real life story of Reiser and Rogen’s friendship throughout Reiser’s battle with cancer. Also a restricted clip, “Evidence,” has been released. All three clips are below the post.
Here’s the synopsis of “50/50”:
“Inspired by a true story, 50/50 is an original story about friendship, love, survival and finding humor in unlikely places. Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen star as best friends whose lives are changed by a cancer diagnosis in this new comedy directed by Jonathan Levine from a script by Will Reiser. 50/50 is the story of a guy’s transformative and, yes, sometimes funny journey to health – drawing its emotional core from Will Reiser’s own experience with cancer and reminding us that friendship and love, no matter what bizarre turns they take, are the greatest healers.”

As someone who’s a cancer survivor I could relate to this movie http://bit.ly/p0yaqH
