Technically, it’s not shocking for two men to kiss, at least it’s not supposed to be shocking. But what makes this kiss between men a Daily Shock is that one of the men is Tim Tebow, the spokesperson for the right-wing “Focus on the Family.”

According to The Huffington Post, Tebow, who filmed a 2010 commercial for the organization, kissed Denver Broncos teammate Demaryius Thomas after Thomas caught a touchdown pass.

Also, according to Towleroad, this isn’t the first time Tebow has shared a kiss with one of his teammates on the lips; according to the site, Tebow was kissed by University of Florida teammate Tony Joiner.

So, what are Tebow’s actual views on gay rights? How does he view kissing men? Who knows for sure. And let’s be honest–there’s a lot of homoerotic things that happen in sports (for instance, when did patting each other on the butt become a common practice in sports?). In any event, this kiss is an interesting thing, especially since it’s being done in a sport considered the most heterosexual of sports in front of thousands of people in the stadium and even more at home. Very interesting, indeed.
