The first official movie trailer for Wanderlust with Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston has been released. The rom-com comes from director David Wain of Childrens Hospital and Wainy Days. Set for a February 2012 release, the trailer doesn’t do much to draw interest. With the plot previously revealed, and Rudd on board, Wanderlust had sounds of potential, until you watch the first look.
Following an urban couple, who end up living in what looks like a hippie commune, the two run into some crazy situations as they learn to adapt. The funniest part of the trailer was the fly paper hanging from the ceiling of Rudd’s office job, and a scenes where he’s on the toilet while his new spiritual family wants to talk in a circle. Other than that, the usually hysterical Paul Rudd paired up with Bounty Hunter actress Jennifer Aniston just isn’t cutting it.
Also featured in the flick is Malin Akerman of The Heartbreak Kid, Justin Theroux, Lauren Ambrose of Six Feet Under, Alan Alda, Reba McEntire, Kathryn Hahn of the recently deceased Free Agents, Ray Liotta, and more. David Wain and Ken Marino of Reaper and Party Down wrote the script. Hit play and let us know what you think of the Wanderlust movie trailer below.
