According to The Hollywood Reporter, tennis star Anna Kournikova (as well as her representatives) has confirmed that she is leaving the hit NBC show, “The Biggest Loser.” The reason for leaving: apparently, according to the article, she did not click well with any of the contestants.

According to the site, NBC hired Kournikova in order to replace Jillian Michaels. However, she did not sympathize with the contestants as they faced the challenges of working out and getting fit. Instead, she would tell the contestants about her hard upbringing whenever they complained about their workout challenges. Also, according to the site, a soure on “The Biggest Loser” said the tennis star was “a nightmare.”

Kournikova said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter that she enjoyed her time on the show. “Although I will not be returning as a full time trainer on season 13, I will always be a part of ‘The Biggest Loser’ family and my commitment to bettering lives through health and fitness with continue,” she said. In NBC’s case, the search for the next Jillian Michaels will continue. Who will it be? We’ll see.
