Watch a new sneak peek at the movie “The Five Year Engagement” starring Jason Segel (How I Met Your Mother) and Emily Blunt of the The Adjustment Bureau has been dropped to the web in promotion of its April 2012 release. The movie is a romantic comedy that follows Segel and Blunt, “who ride out an unusually long engagement” after Blunt’s character initially accepts a two year job at the University of Michigan that draws on and on until a funeral, an arrow in the leg, and a few funny jokes about treadmills and more. Chris Pratt, as always, shines in the trailer along with the married pair of Blunt and Segel and their quirky family.
The script was written by Jason Segel and directed by Nicholas Stoller, who also helped pen the script. The Five Year was also produced by Judd Apatow (Bridesmaids). With decent laughs and a good cast that includes a lineup of actress’ Mimi Kennedy and Rhys Ifans. Dakota Johnson, Allison Brie, Brian Posehn, Mindy Kaling and Kevin Hart are also on board.
