The racy and hilarious comedian Kathy Griffin has landed her very own talk show on the Bravo Network according to reports from The Associated Press. The new show, that has been named ‘Kathy’, will air on a weekly basis at some point this coming Spring. It’s official time slot hasn’t been confirmed as of yet, but per network execs Griffin will be touching on an array of topics during the talk show, while sharing her view points on current events. “This will be the destination to get Griffin’s thoughts on everything pop culture as she rants on the week’s biggest headlines and tabloid gossip.” The ‘My Life on the D-List’ star’s new show has also be called a “piercing take on the week’s news.” Bravo revealed the news during the Television Critics Association Press Tour in Pasadena this past Saturday.
Griffin should have no problems when it comes to raking in the ratings with her outspoken opinions. “I have a no-apology policy,” the comedian says. “No apologies for jokes. I apologize in my real life all the time. I say ridiculous things, I make mistakes constantly. But when I’m on stage, I’m at a microphone . . . it’s a joke!” Meanwhile, Kathy Griffin is also slated to headline two stand-up comedy specials on the Bravo Network this year as well.
