Bleeding Cool has delivered some exciting news for Smallville fans. After going off the air, ending their ten year run on the CW last year, it looks like story writer Brian Q. Miller of the show is looking to resurrect the story of Superboy turned Superman. According to rumors, and let’s hope this comes to fruition, Miller is working on a Smallville season 11 in the form of the prose book that will reportedly pick up where we left off with Clark (Tom Welling), Chloe (Allison Mack), Lois (Erica Durance), Oliver (Justin Hartley), Lex (Michael Rosenbaum), Tess (Cassidy Freeman), and the rest of the gang.
After some of the Smallville population felt robbed, calling the series finale a disappointment, maybe Miller’s book will help ease the pain. News on when the Smallville book will be released has yet to be revealed. Aside from his work on the long running show, Brian Q. Miller is also known for his DC comic work, as well as a contributor to the comic Batgirl series, Teen Titan, and the new ’52 Relaunch’. Meanwhile, The CW looks to be looking to fill the void of Smallville with a new series resembling the Green Arrow. Be sure to sound off and tell us what you think of a Smallville 11 book below.
I’ve always liked Miller’s work on Smallville and look forward to his book.
This is Heath’s Daughter, Rebecca. I’m Really looking forward to the book because their is a 50/50 chance they’ll make the book into a movie like other famous books. I would really like to see new movies of superman using those exact same characters! It would be a Better ending! What I’m really confused is I always though Lois never knew about Clark’s secret! But The book HAS to be a sequence so that i can actually see what happens after he saves the day! The Only movie ever to do that was Batman Begins. Gorden at the end starts talking about Joker which comes up in the next movie. So And I always liked Millar’s work but if they make Green Arrows T.V Show They have to add Clark (tom welling) But One thing! Where’s BATMAN!
