You probably never thought you would see a movie that had both Elizabeth Banks and Paul Reubens in it. Well, if this has been your dream film, then count your lucky stars, since this Banks-Reubens working relationship is about to happen.
According to Collider, Banks and Reubens have been cast in the Charlie Kaufman film “Frank of Francis.” According to the site via The Hollywood Reporter, Banks is supposed to play a famous actress that is currently making “formulaic comedy bombs” as well as having an affair with Steve Carell’s character. Also, Variety is reporting that Reubens is being brought on to possibly play a film critic.
According to Collider, Kaufman’s film is said to be “a scathingly brilliant satire of Hollywood.” The film is about a director (Carell) who becomes obsessed with a message board commenter (Jack Black) who keeps ragging on his film. Also set to be in the film are Kate Winslet, Catherine Keener, Kevin Kline and Nicolas Cage.
