Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston is directing an episode of the hilarious series Modern Family according to The Wrap. Cranston’s episode will air later on in the season with clues of what’s to come being tweeted by the cast of the show who all seem star struck by the long time actor’s presence on set. Actor Eric Stonestreet, who plays Cam in the series, tweeted “Bryan Cranston is directing Modern Family this week. One of my first gigs was Malcolm in the Middle. He was and is a gent of a guy.” While Julie Bowen (aka Claire) shared her excitement. “Walter White directs Modern Family! Bryan Cranston is amazeballs .. I can’t stop asking him about @breakingbad.”
Other tweets and a picture came from the Modern Family’s Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Mitchell. “Here is @itsJulieBowen questioning our director Bryan Cranston’s suggestion to steal a Mobile Home.” (An RV converted into a mobile meth lab was a vital part of the AMC drama’s early episodes.) Looks like Cranston is helming what sounds to be one of the funniest episode of the seasons that will include a nerf gun fight and a possible campaign celebration for Claire.
Aside from his Breaking Bad stint, Cranston will also show up on The Cleveland Show this year as well. He will be playing a film critic in the series.
