Gary Oldman already gave some hints as to the ending of “The Dark Knight Rises” when he decided to talk about how he thought he lost his script, one of the few with the complete ending. Comic Book Movie also reported on another Gary Oldman-centric bit of news; Oldman gave some insight as to what it was like on his last day of filming.

Oldman told TheWrap.com about the gift director Christopher Nolan gave him after finishing up the final shot of “Rises.”

“They gave me a very funny gift after my last shot on [‘The Dark Knight Rises’],” he said. “I was standing on a rooftop with Chris Nolan, and they gave me a shadow box, in this black frame. Inside it was my badge, my glasses and a mustache that they stick on the stuntmen. So they even retired my mustache. It was a lovely, funny little gift at the end of it all, and a lovely keepsake.”

Interesting! So now we know that not only will Commissioner Gordon be a part of the final act of the film, but he’s going to be doing something awesome on a rooftop! Even without my fishing for clues, that’s a really nice story.
