Originally, it was thought that only two members of Arcade Fire, Win Butler and Régine Chassagne, had recorded a song for the soundtrack “The Hunger Games: Songs from District 12 and Beyond” called “Horn of Plenty.” According to exclaim.ca., the song ended up not making it on the album. Instead, something even better is going in its place–a song made by Arcade Fire in its entirety.

According to the article via Arcade Fire Tube, the new song, “Abraham’s Daughter,” was just recorded last week and will appear as the closing song during the ending credits of “The Hunger Games.” The orchestral version of “Horn of Plenty” will be released with the film’s score.

You can read more about this news at exclaim.ca, which also has the complete track listing for “The Hunger Games: Songs from District 12 and Beyond.”

“The Hunger Games” stars Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson and Donald Sutherland. The film tells the story of a young girl who volunteers to be a tribute and must win the barbaric Hunger Games to survive. The film will be released March 23.
