Wes Bentley is being surpassed by his other co-star in “The Hunger Games,” his beard. Bentley, who plays Seneca Crane in the film, said he himself is a big fan of his beard. “It’s such a cool look, and Ve Neill, the makeup designer, did such an amazing job,” he said to MTV Hollywood Crush. “It’s exciting that it’s getting that kind of attention.”
Bentley said that the shape and design of his beard took a long time to get right. “I usually come to set with a beard, and my hair as long as I can get it–so there are options,” he said. “[Neill] worked at [the beard] for three hours trying to find the right shape, and she got it.”

“The Hunger Games” stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Donald Sutherland and Woody Harrelson. The official synopsis of the film is:
“Every year in the ruins of what was once North America, the evil Capitol of the nation of Panem forces each of its twelve districts to send a teenage boy and girl to compete in the Hunger Games. A twisted punishment for a past uprising and an ongoing government intimidation tactic, The Hunger Games are a nationally televised event in which “Tributes” must fight with one another until one survivor remains.
Pitted against highly-trained Tributes who have prepared for these Games their entire lives, Katniss is forced to rely upon her sharp instincts as well as the mentorship of drunken former victor Haymitch Abernathy. If she’s ever to return home to District 12, Katniss must make impossible choices in the arena that weigh survival against humanity and life against love.”
