Ghet-O-Vision/recording artist Yelawolf is about to become a household name with his debut album, “Radioactive.” Yelawolf, who hails from Alabama and Tennessee, uses the exposure to black and white poverty in the south to influence his raps as well as the name of his album. “I think it’s a perfect word to describe where I’m going,” he said, according to his website. “It’s the fallout, the aftermath of everything I’ve been through and here’s what’s left. This radioactive material.”

You can check out Yelawolf’s new video, “Let’s Roll,” featuring Kid Rock, at VEVO or below the post. Also, make sure to check out Yelawolf on Music Choice’s “Live Undefined,” where he talks about how he defines his music and performs one of his songs, “I Wish.” From what I’ve heard of this guy, he seems like he’s got star potential. I think these songs are going to blow up soon on the radio, but that’s just this writer’s opinion.

“Radioactive,” produced by executive producer Eminem, is available now. You can learn more about Yelawolf and his music at his official website as well as on Twitter,, Facebook and Myspace.
