Director Jules Mann-Stewart (Picket Fences, The Practice) who is the mother of Breaking Dawn star Kristen Stewart has confirmed by way of Twitter that her daughter will in fact be appearing in her directorial debut, K-11. The flick (per IMDb) follows “a record producer” who “comes around after binging on drink and drugs. He finds himself in a section of the Los Angeles County Jail reserved for homosexuals, which is ruled by a transsexual named Mousey.” According to her mom, Stewart will take on a small role as well as her brother Cameron. “Excited to say that a final stage addition to @K11OfficialFilm is Kristen playing a small role.” Mann-Stewart also said that fans will have to take a hard look to spot the Twilight actress. “Kristen has always been supportive of ‘K-11’. But you’ll have to look very hard to find her. It’s a micro-cameo. We’d already shooting the movie, but Kristen still wanted to be a part of it in some way,”
Stewart will apparently be stepping in front of the camera briefly to portray the role of Karen, a secretary to actor Goran Visnjic who is slated to play one of the leading characters, Raymond Saxx Jr. Kate del Castillo and D.B. Sweeney are also part of the film that is said to be prepping for its release this year.
