Director Bill Condon has announced that he’ll be filming pickup shots for additional technical work on ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2,’ Dadeline is reporting. The filmmaker confirmed the news in a letter on Facebook, and said the crew will be heading back to Vancouver for the re-shoots with some of the cast and stunt actors.
Condon emphasized that there won’t be any new scenes or dialogue. But the news comes after ‘Breaking Dawn Part 1’ received the worst reviews of ‘The Twilight Saga’ films.
In Condon’s letter, which he wrote from Los Angeles, he said he can’t believe that it’s been a year since the cast and crew wrapped production on the fifth entry in the series. But he added that “for those of us in the editing room the work has never stopped.” He added that “in a few weeks we’ll be heading back north to pick up some additional shots-the last tiny missing pieces.”
Condon also said that he’s looking forward to being back on the set with the cast and crew, including stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, as well as cinematographer Guillermo Navarro. “I’m excited to report that before too long we’ll have another trailer for you to decoded. And wait until you see the first posters-they’re unlike any ‘Twilight’ images you’ve seen before,” the director concluded.
