Katie Linendoll, the host of Spike TV’s new tech-centric show ‘All Access Weekly,’ has broken the Guinness World Record of the “Most High-Fives in One Minute.” The record was executed in anticipation of National High-Five day on Thursday. Linendoll slapped 107 hands in one minute to earn the Official Record Holder title.
The Guinness World Records Official Attempt will air in a segment on Thursday’s episode of ‘All Access Weekly.’ The attempt can also been seen on Spike’s ‘All Access Weekly’ page on the network’s website.
Linendoll said she always wondered how hard it would be to break a Guinnes World Record. “This was pretty intense! This has been one of the most fun experiences, and I’m excited to have done it as part of Spike’s ‘All Access Weekly’ team,” she added.
The previous Guinness world Record Hold is Marcus Jahrling, a clown from the United Kingdom who goes by Mr. Giggles. He achieved the record in June 2011, with 101 high-fives in one minute.
‘All Access’ showcases the year’s most anticipated events, including E2, Comic-Con and the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The rest of the year, the network shows ‘All Access: Weekly,’ which focuses on technology, gadgets, gaming and entertainment that appealing to men. The show, which features the current popular technology products, airs on Thursdays at midnight ET/PT on Spike.
