The horror-thriller ’11-11-11: The Prophecy,’ which cautions people that the number is more than just a date, it’s a warning, is now available on DVD for $14.99, with several bonus features available. Written and directed by frequent ‘Saw’ helmer Darren Bousman, the film stars Timothy Gibbs, Michael Landes and Wendy Glenn. The DVD includes the film, which is rated PG-13 and runs for 82 minutes, as well as a Director’s Commentary, ‘Making of’ Featurette and Deleted Scenes.
’11-11-11: The Prophecy’ follows follows famed American author Joseph Crone, played by Gibbs, who travels from the United States to Barcelona following the tragic death of his wife and child. He goes to Spain to reunite with his estranged brother, Samuel, portrayed by Landes, and dying father, Richard, played by Denis Rafter.
However, fate has a different plan set for Joseph, as his life becomes plagued with strange happenings and the constant sighting of the number 11. Joseph is quickly filled with curiosity, which turns to obsession, as he realizes that this number holds a horrific meaning to not only hims, but all of religion. Joseph becomes isolated in a foreign country, accompanied only by his companion, Sadie, portrayed by Glenn. He comes to realize that the date of 11-11-11 is a warning.
