A new teaser clip for ‘The Paperboy’ starring Matthew McConaughey, John Cusack, Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron is now out. The short video shows Cusack as the convict Hilary Van Wetter talking behind bars with Matthew McConaughey’s Ward James, a reporter who retreats back to his home town to of Florida to investigate the case of the death row inmate who is wrongly accused. Also featured in the crime drama is Kidman who plays Cusack’s girlfriend and the love interest of Zac Efron, McConaughey’s younger brother and sidekick in the film named Jack. The movie is an adaptation of the novel written by Peter Dexter. The November 14th release was directed by Lee Daniels, the producer behind Tennessee and the flick Precious.
Recently talking about its scheduled debut at the cannes Film festival, Lee Daniels teased an erotic scene between Kidman and Efron that is sure to surprise fans. “We get down,” Daniels shared according to USA Today. “It’s a Zac we have not seen. And Nicole jumped in all the way.” The film maker also spoke about the entrance of several US movies headed to the annual event. “The Americans are coming.” Adding, “I am feeling it.
