Pulse Films has announced that it will be expanding to the United States with bi-coastal offices in New York and Los Angeles. The talent management, production and distribution company was founded in 2005 by Thomas Benski and Marisa Clifford, and releases content across multiple platforms.
Pulse Films as established itself as creating and producing culturally relevant content. It has worked on documentary and ad campaigns for such companies as Blackberry, Skype and Nike.
The Pulse Films’ American offices opened earlier this month, with Managing Director, Cedric Gairard, overseeing the operations from the New York office. The office openings are being supported by a joint-venture with Caviar Content. Pulse Films is aiming to create greater opportunities for its top talent to work in the U.S., through its advertising, music, television and film divisions.
Benski, who serves as the Managing Director at Pulse Films, has said “we carefully expanded Pulse within the U.S. following a demand from various clients.” He added that “we felt our directors, creative approach to production and branded content expertise would really thrive in this market.”
Clifford added that the company is thrilled Gairard will launch Pulse Films in the U.S. “We’re looking forward to working closely with him on this new endeavor,” she also said.
