To celebrate Edward Cullen’s 111th birthday, Summit Entertainment, the studio releasing ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn-Part 2,’ has released the latest trailer for the anticipated fantasy drama. While the trailer was released in honor of Edward, played by Robert Pattinson, his wife, the newly-turned vampire Bella, portrayed by Kristen Stewart, is the star of the trailer.
The one-minute, 18-second trailer shows Bella saying that “after 18 years of being utterly ordinary, I finally found I could shine, I was born to be a vampire.” Upon seeing Bella as a vampire, Jacob, played by Taylor Lautner, tells her “I didn’t expect you to seem so…you.”
But the trailer turns grim as the Volturi, the ruling vampire coven lead by Aro, portrayed by Michael Sheen, vows to wipe out the Cullen family. He is mistakenly informed that Bella and Edward’s half-vampire, half-human daughter, Renesmee, played by Mackenzie Foy, was bitten by vampires as a child.
Aro tells his army that it’s imperative to maintain the vampires’ secrecy. He leads the Volturi into a battle with the Cullen’s allied ban of vampires and werewolves.
As the trailer ends, Bella tells Renesmee that she’ll never let anyone hurt her. ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn-Part 2’ hits theaters on November 16.
