Julianna Margulies is being sued by her former management team for not paying them their agreed upon 10 percent commission, TMZ is reporting. D/F Management, who was hired by Margulies in 2009, served ‘The Good Wife’ star with a lawsuit, saying she needs to pay them a cut of the money she has earned from deals they secured for her while she was their client.
D/F’s court documents said the company helped her land the Emmy Award-winning role as Alicia Florrick on the acclaimed CBS crime drama. They’re also saying they helped make her the face of L’Oreal.
However, since the Golden Globe award-winning actress fired D/F Management in April 2011, she reportedly hasn’t paid them the agreed upon 10 percent that she’s been earning from ‘The Good Wife’ and L’Oreal. Attorney Matthew Rosengart, who filed the lawsuit on D/F’s behalf, said the company’s out $420,000 in commission so far.
The company wants the money it says its owed. D/F also wants a judge’s order saying they get to continue making the 10 percent as long as Margulies stays in the deals they signed for her.
