Food enthusiast Eden Grinshpan will take Cooking Channel viewers on weekly cooking adventures in her new show ‘Eden Eats.’ Set to debut on Friday, August 17 at 10pm ET/PT, Grinshpan will visit a different city each week over the course of eight episodes. In each city, she’ll discover original recipes and the stories behind them. Grinshpan will meet the immigrants and locals who reconnect with their culture and traditions through food.
During the series premiere, Grinshpan will travel to Nashville and taste food from around the world. She starts her tour at International Market, one of the city’s first ethnic restaurants, where she learns to make a traditional Thai salad with red snapper.
Grinshpan will then head to a Somali restaurant, where she shares food and stories with the owner, a refugee from Kenya. Her tour continues at cafe Bosna, where she makes a traditional stuffed onion dish for dinner.
In future episode, ‘Eden Eats’ will also follow the host as she travels to Phoenix, where she tries Polish pirogues and Lebanese kabobs. Grinshpan will also head to San Diego for a Loatian New Year’s celebration, including dinner at a Norwegian Supper Club. She’ll also travel to Tampa, where she tries Brazilian, German and Greek cuisine.
