The Fox Network has ordered up a new TV pilot based on ‘The Legend of Sleepy Hollow’. Together Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci of the Fox series ‘Fringe’, as well as Len Wiseman will bring the new series to life. Wiseman, who is known for his work on the ‘Underworld’ movie franchise and ‘Total Recall’, will direct while Kurtzman and Orci will pen the script with writer Philip Iscove, who developed the idea for the describe supernatural thriller. Given the experience of the producers, The Sleepy Hollow TV production should be exciting and by the sounds of it dark.
The forthcoming Sleepy Hollow’s small screen production will reportedly chronicle schoolmaster Ichabod Crane and the town’s female sheriff as the two try to investigate and put a stop to the forces tearing the town apart. As the series moves forward into production, casting news and a premiere date shouldn’t be far away if Fox ultimately decides to bring the thriller to their line-up. As many may remember ‘The Legend of Sleepy Hollow’ dates back to the 1820’s and was written by Washington Irvin. Tell us what you think. Would you tune into the Sleepy Hollow adaption?
