With the anticipated DVD and Blu-ray release of Lionsgate’s hit sci-fi action adventure ‘The Hunger Games’ set for tomorrow, several cast members from the film will help fans celebrate this weekend during exclusive autograph signing events. The signings will take place tonight and tomorrow morning at retailers across the country.
Tonight, the events will include Willow Shield, who played Primrose Everdeen, at the Walmart in Phoenix, Arizona, at 1825 Bell Road. Alexander Ludwig, who portrayed Cato, will be at the Walmart in North Miami Beach, Florida at 1425 NE 163rd Street.
Dayo Okeniyi, who played Thresh, and Jack Quaid, who portrayed Marvel, will be at the Walmart in Santa Clarita, California, at 26471 Carl Boyer Drive. Leven Rambin, who played Glimmer, will be at the Walmart in Dallas, Texas at 1521 N. Cockrell Hill Rd. Ethan Jamieson, who portrayed the Tribute Boy from District 4, and Ian Nelson, who played the Tribute Boy from District 3, will be at the Walmart in Marietta, Georgia at 2795 Chastain Meadows Pkwy.
Tomorrow morning, Amandla Stenberg, who played Rue, will be at New York City’s Times Square Toys”R”Us. The event will be held on Level Three, The Skybox, at 1514 Broadway (at 44th Street).
‘The Hunger Games’ two-disc DVD and Blu-ray will featuare over three hours of bonus features, including the eight-part documentary, ‘The World is Watching: Making of The Hunger Games.’ There’s also a conversation with director Gary Ross, as well as a look into the creation of the control room in the film.
