The official trailer for director Simon West’s upcoming action thriller ‘Stolen’ has been released. The movie, which hit theaters on September 14, reunites the ‘Expendables 2’ helmer with Nicolas Cage for the first time since the filmmaker’s 1997 directorial debut, the action thriller ‘Con Air.’
‘Stolen,’ which also stars Malin Akerman and Josh Lucas, is set during Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Will Montgomery, played by Cage, is a master thief, who is double-crossed in a heist gone wrong. After being sent to prison for eight years, he’s ready to leave his criminal past behind and build a relationship with his estranged daughter, Allison, played by ‘Blue Bloods’ star Sami Gayle.
But Will’s old cohorts and the FBI think he hid the loot from the last heist eight years ago, $10 million in Bonds. To get the money, Will’s old partner, Vincent, kidnaps Allison and demands the entire amount of money as ransom. Will is only given one day to hand over the money to Vincent, and the FBI on his trail, so he turns to his old partner, Riley, played by Akerman, to help him get Allison back alive.
