The A&E Network has unveiled a scary new trailer for their upcoming miniseries ‘Coma’ that is due to hit the network’s lineup this Labor Day and after getting a first glimpse at the eerie teaser it doesn’t look half bad. The thriller chronicles a medical student played by Six Feet Under’s Lauren Ambrose and her discovery that something evil is going on at the Jefferson Institute hospital she works at with Mrs. Emerson, a woman who seems to be responsible for all of these strange happenings. Slowly Ambrose’s character’s inclinations bring her closer to the truth as healthy patients unexpectedly end up in a coma on the operating table.
Aside from Ambrose the cast ensemble also includes actors Ellen Burstyn, Steven Pasquale, James Woods, Geena Davis, Richard Dreyfuss, and more. The Ridley and Tony Scott production was directed by Michael Solomon and was adapted from the 1977 Robin Cook novel as well as the 1970’s film by Michael Crichton. Fans that have been awaiting the mini-series that was introduced at this year’s San Diego Comic Con can check out the ‘Coma’ trailer below and tell us what you think. The two day event will kick off on A&E September 3rd at 9 PM.
