The upcoming suspense-thriller ‘The Cottage,’ directed by Chris Jaymes and written by Nick Antosca, will be released on DVD on October 9 by Entertainment One and Visualeyes Productions. The film, which was produced by Kristen Dalton and Bettina O’Mara, stars David Arquette, Dalton and ‘One Life to Life’ actor Victor Brown.
‘The Cottage’ follows a financially struggling couple, Chloe )played by Dalton) and Michael Carpenter (portrayed by Brown), with a new baby daughter. In order to make ends meet, they rent out the cottage behind their house to a quiet, charming romance novelist, Robert Mars (played by Arquette). Robert doesn’t turn out to be who he initially seems, as he’s looking more than a place to rent. Chloe begins to suspect he’s up to something sinister, and soon realizes she’s in for the fight for her life to protect herself and her family.
Also among the cast of ‘The Cottage’ are ‘The Secret Life of the American Teenager’s Ken Baumann and sisters Morissa and Alana O’Mara. ‘Soul Surfer’s Lorraine Nicholson and ‘Scandal’s Bellamy Young round out the cast of the suspense-thriller.
