The new trailer and poster for the upcoming crime drama ‘Jack Reacher’ have been released. The film, which stars Tom Cruise in the title role, was written and directed by Christopher McQuarie. The film is set to hit theaters on December 21.

‘Jack Reacher,’ which is based on the book ‘One Shot’ by Lee Child, follows the aftermath of an expert sniper who shoots and kills five people. After the police quickly arrest their suspect, the culprit claims he’s innocent, and requests Jack helps prove his innocence. While the suspect’s attorneys are relived when Jack arrives, he reveals he’s actually there to prove the man’s guilt. But he encounters more than he anticipated along the way.
