There are some rumors afoot concerning “Iron Man 3.” Let’s take a look at what’s going on, shall we?
According to Cosmic Book News, the mysterious Roger Wardell‘s Twitter account has stated that “Iron Man 3” has had its third act rewritten. According to the tweet, the rewrite was “last minute,” which makes me wonder what could have been going on with the third act, if the rumor is true at all.
Another rumor, from Latino Review, states that the film has already finished filming. The supposedly last scene shot involved an Afghanistan village that has come under attack. But, according to Cosmic Book News, the last scene was shot in an abandoned cement factory, with Robert Downey, Jr. in the Mark 47 i.e. Extremis armor.
“Iron Man 3” will be out May 3, 2013. The film will follow Tony Stark as he goes to Asia:
“Marvel Studios’ Iron Man 3 pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?”
