I’m sure “The Hobbit” will be great and all, but when you compare the hundreds of millions of dollars spent on those films to what the filmmakers behind the independently-produced “The Shadow Cabal” are working with, there’s no denying Arrowstorm Entertainment and Mainstay Productions know how to maximize even the smallest of budgets.
From director John Lyde, the film tells the story of an agent of the Order named Keltus (Richard McWilliams) as he attempts to hunt down the mysterious Shadow Cabal. After hitting a dead end, Keltus teams up with an elven bounty hunter (Danielle Chuchran) and orc raider (Paul D. Hunt) in order to get back on the right path and have a shot at stopping the Shadow from unleashing the God of the Undead.
Arrowstorm and Mainstay recently released the film’s first trailer showing off some striking settings and out-of-this-world creatures and, if you like what you see, you’re in luck. Not only has production on “The Shadow Cabal” wrapped, but the film is well over a $20,000 Kickstarter goal in their campaign geared towards finishing an “epic” visual effects sequence featuring a giant demon. Even though the filmmakers are well in the green, extra funds will go towards making “The Shadow Cabal” even better so check out the trailer and if you’re eager to catch Keltus and co. in action, show some support on the film’s Kickstarter page.
