Things might be winding down on the “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” set this year and Christmas is just around the corner, but “The Hunger Games” star Jennifer Lawrence is not going to take a break from Katniss Everdeen.
According to Examiner and Gather Entertainment, Lawrence has said that even though she will be spending time with her family in Kentucky, she might be taking along Katniss’ trusty bow and arrow.
Lawrence told the Guardian that she and her brother are going to engage in some very Katniss behavior. “My brother just told me we’re all going to go clay pigeon shooting over Christmas. I don’t know what his shooting skills are…probably better than mine. I’ll have to bring my bow and arrow.”
Christmas might mean a break for the cast of “Catching Fire,” but the film is still expected to wrap before 2012 is over.
You can read more about Lawrence’s Christmas plans at the Examiner. “Catching Fire” will be out in theaters November 22, 2013.
“Catching Fire” also stars Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark and Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne. Katniss and Peeta are the two winners of the 74th historic Hunger Games. Katniss and Peeta will be put back into the harsh world of The Hunger Games–this time, it’s the Quarter Quell, and the Capitol has their sights on ending the rebellion inspired by Katniss.
