Actress Jessica Chastain has reportedly turned down a starring role in James Franco’s upcoming movie entitled ‘Good People’. According to Just Jared, Chastain couldn’t commit because of her busy schedule. “She wanted to do it but passed as she wasn’t available when production wanted to shoot. Both of their schedules are really crazy and just didn’t line up,” a source shared. The ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ star is currently attached to ‘The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: His’, per IMDb, and director Andres Muschietti’s ‘Mama’.
The Franco lead feature revolves around a couple in financial straits due to expensive fertility treatments. Desperate, the pair rob their dead tenant to pay the bills but end up the target of both the police and a few shady characters. The movie adaption comes from the book of the same name from Marcus Sakey. The drama will be directed by Henrik Ruben Genz with an adaptation of the book penned by Kelly Masterson. Ben Forkner, Tobey Maguire, Eric Kanzler, Ed Cathell, Thomas Gammeltoft and Mark Gill are all on board to produce the project. Avi Lerner, Trevor Short, Boaz Davidson, John Thompson and Matthew Plouffe will executive produce, according to The Wrap.
