The first showing of the “Star Trek Into Darkness” Super Bowl ad has been seen by hundreds of thousands of viewers already, but if you happened to miss the ad (and I can understand it if you did–there are tons of commercials and fun stuff going on in almost every house around the country), we’ve got it for you below the post! I already knew Benedict Cumberbatch would be battling with Zachary Quinto for my soul in this movie, but–dare I say it–Cumberbatch just might have edged out Quinto’s Spock as my favorite thing about this new movie.
“Star Trek Into Darkness,” directed by JJ Abrams, is the sequel to the lucrative 2009 “Star Trek” reboot. Captain Kirk (Chris Pine), is facing his toughest challenge yet as a mysterious John Harrison (Cumberbatch) threatens war against the crew. The film also stars Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, John Cho, Alice Eve and Anton Yelchin.
