Ram Trucks, Budweiser and Taco Bell all scored big as fan favorite commercials during last night’s telecast of Super Bowl XLVII on CBS. Fans across the country cast their votes on Hulu AdZone, presented by Toyota, to select their favorite commercials. Viewers selected the truck, beer and taco fast food companies’ ads as the best during the championship game.
Fans voted for all Super Bowl XLVII commercials on Hulu’s AdZone, and the results reflect all the votes that were cast as of 8pm PT/11pm ET yesterday. For the first time ever, viewers were able to watch, vote, share, tweet and like their favorite ads on iOS and Android supported mobile devices.
The overall top 10 most liked ads, as ranked by fan votes, are: Ram Trucks: Farmer; Budweiser: Brotherhood; Taco Bell: Viva Young; Volkswagen: Get In. Get Happy; Universal Pictures: ‘Fast & Furious 6 Game Day Trailer; Jeep: America Will Be Whole Again; Paramount Pictures: ‘World War Z’ Big Game Spot; Skechers: GOrun 2 – Man vs Cheetah Big Game Commercial; GoDaddy.com: Perfect Match – Bar Refaeli’s Big Kiss!; and MilkPEP: The Rock in Morning Run.
Hulu also awarded winners in additional categories, including celebrity cameos. Celebrities made their presence known, and helped sell products, by appearin in several commercials. The top three commercials featuring celebrity cameos are: M&M’s: Love Ballad; Samsung Mobile: The Next Big Thing; and Toyota Rav4: Wish Granted.
The best commercials featuring music were also honored by Hulu, as viewers memorably heard The Flaming Lips’ new single and a goldfish singing a neo-soul version of ‘No Diggity.’ The top three fan favorite ads featuring music include Audi: Prom; Mercedes-Benz: Soul; and Hyundai: Epic Playdate.
Fans were also able to vote on the cutest commercials, including those with adorable animals and cut kids. The favorite cute ads are: Coca-Cola: Cameras; M&M’s: Love Ballad; and Hyundai: Epic Playdate.
There were also several commercials that payed homage to the love of football. The top fan favorite ads honoring the love of the game include Tide: Miracle Stain; Hyundai: Team; and Pizza Hut: Hut Hut Hut.
There were several memorable ads showing pretty people in various states of undress, which left viewers what the companies were really trying to sell. But no one seemed to mind re-watching the ads, and voting on M&M’s: Love Ballad; Axe: Lifeguard; and Kia: Hotbots.
Viewers were able to relive their childhood and young adulthood with ads that kept them feeling young and carefree. The best young, wild and free ads include Audi: Prom; Kia: Space Babies; and Bud Light: Journey.
