‘Marley and Me’ co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson will reunite for Peter Bogdanovich’s upcoming movie ‘She’s Funny That Way’. Aniston is slated to play a therapist whose mother is in rehab for alcoholism. Wilson will portray a Broadway director who takes a liking to a former prostitute and tries to kick start her acting career. Actors Eugene Levy (American Pie), Jason Schwartzman (Rushmore), Kathryn Hahn (Crossing Jordan), Brie Larson (21 Jump Street) and Cybill Shepherd (The Client List), all join the film formerly titled ‘Squirrel to the Nuts’. The screenplay comes from both Bogdanovich and first time writer and actress Louise Stratten (Django Unchained). The film will begin shooting this coming June in New York City.
At the moment Aniston is reportedly filming the role of Mickey on the set of the Untitled Elmore Leonard Project. The ‘Friends’ actress is also on board ‘We’re the Millers’ and ‘Miss You Already’. Meanwhile, Wilson is currently involved in a number of projects. The actor is rumored to be attached to ‘Zoolander 2’, ‘The Coup’ from director John Erick Dowdle, ‘Freezing People Is Easy’, ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ and ‘The Internship’.
